Build your Confidence #2 | Monday (Tips) ♥

Hello guys,
just so you know if you checked my twitter, you'd of known I didn't post yesterday because I slept over my nans but like always, I'm still posting and here it is! (Tuesdays post will be up today also)
Today's might seem a little plain, but I'm just going to put up a list of 5 tips, with explanations, so I hope they help. These are also tips I think people just starting to build confidence should follow before others.
1. Dress proudly, smartly and appropriately.
Even though clothes doesn't necessarily define you as a person in some cases, it defiantly defines your mood. If you was to walk around wearing someone uncomfortable, or something you aren't exactly fond of, it put's you in a less greater mood. Where as if you was proud, and comfortable in what you're wearing, of course you're going to feel better about yourself!
2. Gradually start to walk faster
A walk tends to define people in certain ways. If you was to walk slow, slouched, people would assume you're not exactly confident and in the best of moods. Where as if you was to walk faster or more formal you look more put together, confident and happy.
3. Good Posture
This one means loads to me! If you sit slouched you look tired and not prepared, where as if you was to maintain good posture you look ready, sharp and you not only look more confident, but you feel more confident.
4. Be Grateful
When you focus on things you want, you tend to make up reasons why you can't or shouldn't have it. By focusing on things that you're grateful for it makes you feel good about yourself and the fact you have another day to even try and earn what you want.
5. Compliment other people
Instead of focusing in yourself, try and bring other people to be more confident, compliments should do the trick or at least make an impact.

Mystery Sunday #2 | Starting a Blog ♥

Hello everyone.
Today's post (As you can tell by the title) is all about starting a blog.

So if you want to start a blog, why not? Go ahead. You have nothing to lose.
I defiantly recommend using Blogger as it's features are amazing, you can expand it to so much and make a business out of it if you use ad-sense (I do not as this is just a hobby, I don't think the blogs anywhere near good enough YET, and I don't want to throw adds everywhere)

When you've decided what the blogs on, it's pretty simple really.
You can sign up for a Blogger account, click 'create blog' and it goes on from there really.
Then you pick a template of a list of different templates.
You change it up a little by shoving your pictures and logos place.
Make a couple of pages, add features like view counter, text, posts to either the sides or the bottom.
Possibilities are endless!
You can make multiple blogs all from one account if you wish too!

So if you're thinking 'hm, I might wanna start a blog' or 'should I start a blog' or 'I don't know whether too' I say try it. If you don't like it just delete it. I haven't found a problem with it yet.

Disclaimer: This is all MY own opinion.

This post might be a little short today but it's all I have time for sorry.
Have a great Sunday.

Gift Guide #1 | Saturday ♥

Hello everyone.
This is slightly late, yesterday I thought for some reason I had typed up and posted already, so when I came this morning to put Sundays post up I realized I haven't.
Okay, so this series is going to take place every Saturday (as you can tell by the schedule) and it's going to be about what you can buy for family members at Christmas, if you're a bit stuck and you want to actually buy them a mystery present.

Today we'll be talking about the younger audience and we'll work ourselves up and by Christmas, we should have the entire 'family content' completed with a simple gift guide.

So, Toddlers shall we say?
Since the baby is still learning how to do things, or just getting the hang of it, or is rather adventurous, you have a couple of choices.

  • Something that is loud, flashing - to adapt their senses and of course they'll have fun will a loud flashing colorful item - unless they're a child that's not into noise
  • If it's more of a quite child, if they've started nursery some building blocks or a water tray with a couple of rubber ducks wouldn't go a miss and they're bound to have fun right?
  • Well if the child is younger, or sleeps a lot, how about a new teddy and a chocolate tray? I'm sure they'd love eating chocolate and cuddling up to their new teddy!
  • If the child is into fashion, or shoes you could go out and buy a pair of shoes and some sort of outfit, or just shoes depending on the budget and the price of them.
  • Last but not least, you could buy something for the baby, to help out the parents. You could buy a baby's high seat, car seat, a play pen. Anything appropriate like that.
Thanks for reading yesterdays post.
Keep your eyes peeled for Today's post!

Expanding your beauty #1 | Friday ♥

Welcome back to the blog guys!
TGIF!!! So this post might be a little late as in it's 9:08pm on a Friday and I'm typing this up. I also just posted Thursdays post just now. I'm just trying to keep on top of things sorry guys. I'll be posting all the posts but if it's a day or two late don't panic, I will be putting the post up.

Today's post is all about expanding your beauty.
I'm going to be talking a little bit about money, and beauty budgets.
Now, if you was to go back through the first couple of months of posts, you'll find a beauty budget post. It's about a site I recommended on earning some extra bucks to pay for your extra things, eg. Make-up.

If you're a child, such as myself, you probably can't actually be bothered to go on sites and do surveys and take the time to earn it. You want it just to be over with and you pretty much want to go on your shopping spree right about now.

And if that's the case, I totally recommend doing extra work, jobs around the house. Even if it's for next to nothing, it all adds up. Saving up your pocket money always helps. Then if you're desperate you could ask for a raise - but don't beg because if you just be patient and help around the house a little bit, you might just get that little bit extra.

Really the best thing I can recommend is to save.
When you save around £10-£20 you can start considering what you're going to buy next.
The second thing I highly recommend, is to look around online for make-up.
It varies for different people. If you like to go and see and test the product out, you could just go to a shop and pay more. But with budgets, I'd personally go online, find some make-up for a couple of dollars or pounds less and then that gives you something to start saving with the next week/month.

This post might be a little short but remember, it's just an introduction and there's a load more to come. This is one step of a process that has endless possibilities.

I hope you're looking forward to next Friday's post on expanding your beauty.
Have a great night I guess.

Spa Thursday | Thursday #1 ♥

Welcome you guys,
So today's post is all about well, treating yourself and making yourself beautiful!
You'd know what this is about if you was reading this blog a while back, that I had 'spa Tuesday' and it wasn't a bad series so I've decided to continue it and I also didn't mind typing the posts out, views were decent too.

Today I'm going to be talking about candles and essences since I've already done the bath and basics (You can find it by looking on the bar on the right hand side)

There's actual candles and essences you can buy than you light and then they relax you, and apparently cleanse you of your sins. It's very relaxing to have these burning as you bath and get ready for your spa relaxation day.
It's not only the fact it relaxes you, but they tend to put people in a better overall mood for the rest of the day and make you feel slightly better when you feel ill (unless the scent is too strong/sickly)
The last thing that makes me recommend these are of course, the colors!
Candles are pretty, and you can buy ones like the ones in the image and wouldn't that just make you happy overall? Because they make me happy.

Thanks for reading today's post.
My apologies if it doesn't seem long enough, but I'm trying to take these series slow so I can try and expand on everything I post and have more to post. It all adds up, I promise.
Well thanks anyway. Come back tomorrow for more posts. Have a Happy Thursday. And remember, TOMORROWS FRIDAY!:3

First step to a healthy lifestyle | Wednesday #1 ♥

Hello everyone!
I know this is a little late but it is still Wednesday so I hope you enjoy this post.

You might want to go and read my previous healthy eating introduction I made a while back to understand this with more explanation, but right now I'm focusing on LOOSING weight. I am in no way promoting eating disorders. This is my way of loosing weight, what I'm doing, and my progress and also little things I think could help you.

The first thing to do, is consider what you want. To loose weight, gain muscle, gain weight, just make yourself healthier. Whatever it may be, you have to think if this will be the right guide for you. But if it's not, I'm not stopping you from looking. If you'd like to still read or look at my progress and struggles, feel free to do so.

I'll be posting some of the following every Wednesday:

  • My current journey
  • What tips I've found helpful
  • What tips I've found not so helpful
  • Things I'm going to try
  • What diets I've been looking at
  • Fitsperation
  • Reasons to do it
  • How happy you can be getting results
See you next Wednesday for posts on healthy eating!

Plaits or Pony Tails? | Tuesday #1 ♥

Hello everyone (Sorry this is late)
Today I will be giving my opinions on plaits, or pony tails.

DISCLAIMER: This might not interest people the slightest, but this post is targeting the younger and older audience. You might think, should I have my hair up today, or in a plait? This is just my personal preference and by no means am I telling you what or what not to do. Images are taken from Google.

Pony Tales: Pony tales will do on them days when you can't actually be quite bothered to take the time or effort to make it a little more 'put together' or you might actually need it out of the way which is understandable and overall it's do-able and acceptable.

Plaits: I feel as if when you take the minutes to do a plait it makes you look a little more put together and makes it look as if you've put more effort into it. My favourite thing about plaits all together is that you can do so much with them! You could have multiple ones, or create an entire new look out of them.

But you could always go with something like in the photo!

Thanks for reading. Sorry it's a day late, I was busy the last two days.
Have a great day/night!:3

Build your confidence #1 | Introduction ♥

Hello everyone. (Sorry this is late)
Today's post is going to be the first post on the series I've started, 'build your confidence'.

Before I thought about starting a series, but personally I found it kind of awkward to read on other blogs I read. I kind of pushed it to the back of my head and thought - I'm not confident enough around certain audiences, so how could I teach other people to be when I'm not myself? But then it was recommended by someone who helps me build my confidence in school and they gave me a list of tips. I'm going to give this a trial run. I'm going to do if for a couple of weeks, and if people like the posts, I'll keep it on the schedule, if it's awkward to right and doesn't get many views I'll replace it with something else maybe still confidence related but in a different approach.

The reason the post will be up on a Monday is because that's a day a lot of people go to work, or go to school. You probably feel a little miserable, after a effortless/effort full weekend you have to get up early, do some work when you really can't be bothered and come home tired and possible snappy. So if you can build your confidence up, just one person, even if it's by 0.00001%, that's great. That's a start.

If you want to know, what sorts of things I will be posting, here's a little list

  • Tips
  • Goals
  • Experiences
  • Methods
Right now I'm not sure on other things I could add, but I'll look around, do a little research and see what could be added.

Thanks for reading. I hope you have a marvellous Monday  ♥

Mystery Sunday | Nail Shapes ♥

Hello everyone - as promised, your daily post!
Today's mystery post is about nail shapes, and how to form them on a fake nail or a fake tip.
You might not understand what I mean, but you will soon.

Okay so above is a visual guide of different types of nail shapes - and the names of them.

1. Square
To form a square all you go to do is place the nail file on the top, and scrape within one way. Right to left, right to left, right to left. Make sure the file is steady and straight so you don't end up with an un-ever so-called square shape.

2. Squoval
This shape is actually my favourite and the one I use pretty much all the time. To begin, to make a square shape as stated above. Then, you simple place the file on the corners and curve it. Keep scraping away at the nail until it's your squoval at perfection.

3. Rounded
This shape actually is harder than what it looks. So first you create the squoval, but instead of finishing you keep going, keep rounding it, until you're able to curve the file from one side, to the other. You then form a rounded shape.

4. Oval
Okay so first of all, you make the sides sharp down as a outline. You then curve all of the sharp un-even edges, especially focusing on the top of the nail. Keep curving it until it fits correctly and it should form an oval shape.

5. Almond
To form an almond is not easy. You kind of do what you did with the oval, BUT instead of focusing on the top, only do the top a couple of times. Focus your attention on the sides.

6. Coffin
You pretty much do what you did with the almond. But as we did to the square, use a straight file motion to the top of the nail until you for the coffin shape.

7. Stiletto
Firstly you angle your file tilted inwards at one of the sides, and file away until the top is going inwards in the centre. You then repeat on the other side, again the inwards side at the top of the nail until it meets your earlier formed side. You should find you've created the shape of a stiletto.

Thanks for reading today's post and I hope you enjoyed it, if you didn't don't worry! I post a range of different posts, check out the schedule on the side of the page or in my previous post to see what is on offer. Have a great day ♥
